Royal North Devon Golf Club
Royal North Devon at Westward Ho! can rightly claim to be the cradle of English Golf. Founded in 1864, it is the oldest golf course in the country and is regarded as the St Andrews of the South. The golf course is as tough as any of the UK's more famous links layouts and has recently been placed in Golf World's "Top 100 Courses in the World that a golfer must play".

High Ropes
Every wanted to climb up high on a series of poles and then complete an assault course high above the ground? If so then this is right up your street. The ultimate High is an activity centre just outside Westward Ho! that caters for a number of extreme sports. High Ropes is just one of the activites you can do there and lasts around 1.5 hours

'Book-a-berth' trips are also available. They also offer shorter boat trips around the picturesque Torridge Taw Estuary under sail or motor for a couple, family or small group of friends on an Appledore made, two masted traditional style lugger, 'Jez-y-belle'.

At Rock and Rapid Adventures they have their very own indoor climbing centre and are based in South Molton. They have a good steep lead wall for training, plenty of Top Ropes for climbers, improvers and beginners and a quality bouldering cave with good routes and a steep Woody training board.
